Best gifts for Game of Thrones fans

game of thrones best gifts for fans

How excited are you for the seventh season of Game of Thrones? If you're like me, you'll probably watch the show in the company of your friends. If they prepare food and take care of drinks, you'll want to bring them a special gift.

Need gift ideas?

I already did some of the work for you and compiled this gift guide containing the best gifts for Game of Thrones fans.

1/ Game of Thrones: Map of Known World Jigsaw Puzzle (1000 pieces). A friend gave me this puzzle as a gift a few years ago, and I spent many hours having fun with it as it turned out to be quite a challenge. If you have friends that are into puzzles, then this is undoubtedly a great choice.

2 / Vinyl dragon figures. You can find vinyl figures of all the important Game of Thrones characters, but the dragons are by far my favorites. The top seller is Drogon, but I think Rhaegal and Viserion look just as cute.

3 / Direwolf plush toys. Most dog lovers are obsessed with direwolves. You can get a complete set of plush toys based on all six direwolves. If you prefer to get only one gift, I'd pick Nymeria, as I suspect she'll return in the new season.

4 / Game of Thrones: The Trivia Game. Chances are you know someone who likes to show off his or her detailed knowledge of the show and books and constantly name drops characters and places you never heard of before. This trivia game may just be the perfect gift for this Game of Thrones fan.

5 / A Feast of Ice and Fire: The Official Game of Thrones Companion Cookbook by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel and Sarian Lehrer. Are your friends preparing food and snacks each time you come over to watch Game of Thrones? This book will definitely inspire them. The recipes in A Feast of Ice and Fire are divided by region (King's Landing, Dorne, etc) and are based on George R. R. Martin's detailed descriptions of the food the characters are eating in his books.

6 / Game of Thrones – Season 1 to 6. When season 6 ended, I had a major Game of Thrones hangover, so I re-watched the entire show from the beginning. You'll likely want to do the same after season 7 is over, which I highly recommend because you'll be able to interpret the foreshadowing in an entirely new way and discover things you didn't notice before. Why not get ready beforehand, and get season 1 to 6 so you won't have to wait?

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Which gifts from this gift guide do you prefer? Any other gift ideas you'd like to add?

  1. Yes! We don't have HBO though, so when a season ends, I get HBO for a month and binge watch. We're puzzle people, so the puzzle would be fun.

  3. I paid an absolute fortune once for a GOT t-shirt off the HBO website. What really killed me was the exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollar. But I love my t-shirt and wear it all the time, so it was worth it!

  6. Yep - we are fans! Although now we no longer have Sky so I'm not sure how we are going to watch season 7. I think the other half is going to get his dad's sky go password so we can watch it!! Thanks for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday

  9. Don't set yourself up for failure because of your anxiety, but reach out to others who may know the person better than you and seek their input on what would be the best gift for them.

  10. James, my gaming colleague, is still stirred by his xBox 360 and he is an expert gamer. James says his xBox 360 experience, as well as the many games that he has played notes that the new Xbox 360 250GB is faster than other systems he's tried. The graphics are better and he noticed more advanced corporeal levels. pre hacked games
