ten must read books

I can hardly believe When Animals Attack: The 70 Best Horror Movies with Killer Animals has been out for over two months now. We haven't actually celebrated that, have we?

For the occasion, ten contributors to When Animals Attack will give away their books to one lucky reader of Celluloid Diaries.

All you have to do is fill in the Rafflecopter form below for a chance to win the entire package of ten books. The giveaway is open worldwide.

These are the books we're giving away...

When Animals Attack: The 70 Best Horror Movies with Killer Animals by Vanessa Morgan

70 leading horror writers and filmmakers talk about their favorite "animals on the rampage" movies. From well-known predators such as sharks and lions to unusual killing machines like turkeys, elephants, frogs, cats, and rabbits, there is no shortage of animals on display in this book.

Into the Killing Seas by Michael P. Spradlin

Michael P. Spradlin couldn't have been a better contributor to When Animals Attack because several of his novels deal with killer species. Into the Killing Seas is one such book. After their ship has sunk, two boys have to deal with hunger, dehydration, madness, and... sharks. Based on the true events of the 1945 sinking of the USS Indianapolis.

The Rot by Paul Kane

Something has happened to the world. People are going mad, the very foundations of society are crumbling... Only Adam Keller, testing a prototype environment suit, apparently remains safe - but for how long? Can anything be done, can any of it be reversed, before everything goes to Rot.

Of Blood and Sorrow by Christine Rains

Erin's job is consoling demons at the Putzkammer and Sons Funeral Home. When a vampire comes to her for help, the Putzkammers begin to die one by one. Only by facing her own personal demons can Erin stop the slaughter and rescue the vampire from his dark fate.

Dread and Breakfast by Stuart R. West

It's the worst snowstorm Missouri has ever seen, and nine strangers find themselves sharing a roof at the Dandy Drop Inn. Before the storm is over, blood will flow. Who will survive?

Killer Cows by D.M. Anderson

The killer cows are here! They're big, they're vicious, they smell bad, and they're on a rampage all over the country.

Dragon of the Stars by Alex J. Cavanaugh

Poised to secure his own command and marriage to the queen’s daughter, Lt. Commander Aden Pendar will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. But when the Alliance declares war on his world, Aden finds his plans in disarray. One chance remains–the Dragon. Can Aden find the legendary ship's unique weapon, save his people, and prove he’s capable of commanding his own ship?

Fragments of a Broken Land: Valarl Undead by Robert Hood

In this dark fantasy novel, a group of strangers whose ancestries reach back to an earlier apocalyptic disaster comes together to track down a resurrected corpse that might hold the key to the End of the World.

Dracula Transformed and other Bloodthirsty Tales by Mark McLaughlin and Michael McCarty

A collection of 11 stories about vampires and their most shocking secrets. Author Mark McLaughlin is a Bram Stoker Award winner and Michael McCarty a Bram Stoker Award finalist, so you should be in for a treat with Dracula Transformed.

Don't Hit Me! by Vanessa de Largie

Don't Hit Me! is the true diarised account of her time living with an abusive man. The story is conveyed through poems, journal entries, and fragments of lyrical prose. 1. I know! It doesn't seem like two months ago. Still so cool to see my take on Lake Placid with everyone else's.

  2. What a fantastic way to celebrate! :)

  3. This comment has been removed by the author.

  4. A great collection of books. Glad to be apart of it.

  5. I haven't read any of these. But then my reading has been going very slow the past year. I'm still on John Lennon's biography and I started it before last summer. It is a dreadful shame, I have less than 100 pages to go. I will do some reading later today.

  6. Here we have a perfect example of the paper writing service https://nerdymates.com/write-my-paper. I bet you don't even heard of this possibility to delegate your work to someone else.
