On October 28 at 6 p.m., I will guide you past the most dangerous cinematic children during an Evil Seeds lecture (in Dutch) at the Razor Reel Flanders Film Fest in Bruges, Belgium.
The event is free and will be followed by two "Evil Seeds" movies that I will also introduce: Richard Donner's The Omen (1976) and Max Kalmanovicz's The Children of Ravensback (1980).
Next Monday, I'll be hosting two Q&A sessions with filmmakers at the Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival 2015 in Bruges, Belgium.
The first Q&A is with writer/director Abner Pastoll for his movie Road Games.
Road Games takes place in sun drenched rural France where a hitchhiking duo becomes inexplicably entangled with a mysterious married couple and a local road kill collector.
The movie will be shown at 8 pm and the Q&A with Abner Pastoll will take place after the screening.

Next up is the horror movie Excess Flesh at 10 pm, followed by a Q&A with director Patrick Kennelly. In Excess Flesh, Jill violently imprisons her roommate Jennifer in their apartment in a twisted attempt to bring them closer together. Have a look at the trailer.

Der Samurai
Today, November 9 at 8 pm, I'll be doing a Q&A with director Till Kleinert about his celebrated movie Der Samurai. In his film, a young police officer finds a man walking in the woods, wearing a dress and carrying a katana (samurai sword). The samurai invites the police officer on his destructive crusade towards a nearby village, a journey that will change him forever.
Todeloo
Forget everything you know about good taste and normal filmmaking. Todeloo is a low-budget film made by a group of friends, and, most importantly, it takes place entirely in a toilet. It stars a toilet lady, a tax collector, a drug dealer, a bunch of local junks, and a serial killer who tries to flush his victim's body parts down the drain. On November 10 at 8 pm, the makers of Todeloo will be talking about their crazy project. It'll most probably be an unusual Q&A as well.
White Settlers
Simeon Halligan has already proven with Splintered that he knows how to make a good horror movie. He's back with White Settlers, a suspenseful chiller about a couple that moves to an isolated farmhouse. As darkness falls, they suspect they're not alone. They don't belong there and they certainly aren't welcome. If you want to know more about this film, then come to my Q&A with director Simeon Halligan on November 14 at 6 pm.
Julia
The revenge thriller Julia centers on a woman who falls prey to an unorthodox form of therapy to restore herself after suffering a brutal trauma. Director/screenwriter Matthew A. Brown will talk about this movie during our Q&A on November 14 at 8 pm.

It was the first time we showed some rushes of the yet unfinished film to the audience.
The Strangers Outside is the about two sisters who return to their remote holiday cottage after a day at the seaside. But little do they know they're being surrounded. Soon after their arrival, the girls will come face to face with THE STRANGERS OUTSIDE. When the assailants make their intentions known, things take a shockingly terrible turn and an intense battle for survival will begin.
