Christmas market in Brussels

Christmas market in Brussels

On Friday evening, Gilles and I visited the Christmas market Winter Wonders in Brussels. Elected by British Tour Operators as the most original in Europe, the Brussels' Christmas market stretches for 2 kilometers with a series of chalets, shops, and places to savor Christmas delicacies. After the Christmas market, Gilles cooked me dinner and we watched the latest episodes of HomelandDexter, and American Horror Story.

  2. Brussels is so much fun around Christmas. I'm a little disappointed that I missed the Christmas market this year. I never participate, but it's fun to walk around and watch the stalls.

  8. These pictures are amazing! Unfortunately I've never been to a Christmas market outside of my home state of Colorado, but now I'm thinking I need to change that. I'm glad you shared this on my Link Party - I can't wait to show my husband who loves to travel.

  24. You should visit Ghent. I’m from Belgium but I really love Ghent, it’s cosy and the people are really nice. The Christmas Ornaments market is really cosy, day and night. Mosquito coast is a nice café but there’s plenty to visit. ENJOY YOUR STAY! ❤️

  27. I love how you captured the essence of the season, not just through the decorations and lights but by sharing the little moments that make these experiences memorable. The carousel ride and stumbling upon unique handmade crafts—those unexpected delights are what make exploring these markets so magical.
