  1. Wow I've only seen Night of the Living Dead from this list - and it was creepy. I don't watch a lot of zombies movies it seems.

  2. I just started with the zombie craze, they used to scare the hell out of me, now I'm intrigued.

  3. We have just watched 'Dead Snow' and it was gruesome !! The cover reads - "Zombies, Nazis, Blood on Snow, It doesn't get any better " :-( Thanks for popping over to our weekly book blog hop this week xx

  4. i really don't have a favorite film that features zombies, but the first to mind is Return of the Living Dead in 1985 was the first film i snuck into in a exit door... as people came out i walked backwards into the theater and hid behind the curtain...

  5. Fantastic and unusual choices! I just remembered one I had forgotten about, Cemetery Man. That was fantastic! Happy zombie walk day!

  6. What a great list! Like me, I see you like a lot of the "older" zombie movies. It's rare to find anyone that likes the 'Blind Dead' movies. Those are classics! And I never knew 'The Vineyard' was a zombie movie! Now I have a new one to look for!

    Best Wishes!

  7. Oh fun! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Well would have to pick the Living Dead 2... but they all look creepy-good! Gonna take a peek around here...

  8. Just popped over from my blog -- got my zombie walk post up now (it wasn't the one you commented on.)
I'll have to send a link to your page to my husband, I wonder if he's seen all of these (more than likely yes... shakes head...)

  9. That's a pretty great list. Lots of obscure ones I haven't heard of. Top zombie movies for me have to be Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. I like a bit of comedy in my horror, like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in movie form (not an advertisement).

  10. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and checking out my Zombie Baby. You have quite a collection of older zombie films here, some that I had never heard of. But my favorite zombie film is the remake of "Dawn of the Dead." The changes that were made I think were very smart choices.

  12. It's terrible to admit it especially since I've got a stop on the walk but I've never seen a zombie movie! I can read about em but just can't watch em.

    Thanks! And happy crawling :)

  13. I recently decided that Zak Snyder's "Dawn of the Dead" just might be my favorite zombie movie. I've only seen a couple off your list, I'll have to check more out!

  14. Some of these trailers are just hilariously low budget yet classic in their own sense. I love the line, "You are Liza. I am Emily; I have been looking for you." Cor-ny. lol

    Now following your blog. Cheers.

  15. Love that all your favorites almost all fall within a particular decade. I really wish that Tombs of the Blind Dead would get a re-make. Damn railroad tycoons have been blackballing this project for too many years!

  16. I have not even heard of most of the movies on this list. I hang my zombie head in shame. Thanks for the post! I'll be checking some of these out. I think my favorite zombie movie is Zombieland.

  17. I've been watching a lot of zombie movies lately and I always enjoy dark and spooky reads. These movies definitely sound like something I might enjoy!

  18. My favorite monsters are vampires. I've never seen a zombie movie. :)

  19. Nice list, though some of these are so campy/cheesy I just can't take them seriously!

I never really thought of Tombs of the Blind Dead (SUCH a great movie/series...one of my faves) as a zombie movie, but I totally see it now!

I did a post earlier this month about my top 10 zombie movies (http://www.thespookyvegan.com/2012/10/31-days-of-halloween-my-top-10-zombie.html) as well as my top 15 underrated zombie movies for the virtual zombie walk (http://www.thespookyvegan.com/2012/10/31-days-of-halloween-15-underrated.html).

  23. Great choices! I'm going to go with Zombieland as my favourite film! Now I know, a lot of people say it's not really zombie, more comedy, but come on! Woody Harelson needs his twinkie? Classic!
Great post! Thanks for shambling on by my blog! Happy Walking! =D

I think my favorite recent zombie movie has got to be Zombieland; I only got around to watching it recently but it was really good (and that's coming from someone who hates Woody Harrelson!)
