I loved the gloomy, cold atmosphere of Drowned Sorrow. A real horror story which leaves a strange feeling after reading. I also love the creepy detachment, just the overall commitment to giving you the creeps... Striking cover art too.
@James: The Shadow Over Innsmouth connection never occurred to me, but now you mention it, I'm surprised it didn't. It's pretty obvious I guess. I always got a real The Wicker Man vibe from it personally.
I'm a sucker for coastal based horrors. I love small seaside towns (I lived in one in Wales for three years), but there can often be something unnerving and darkly exciting about them; especially during stormy weather and you're completely at the mercy of the elements and feel so isolated. Perfect horror setting.
ok...the cover did it. i just had to go back and finally buy drowned sorrow to my kindle. there are few things in life i love more than paranormal fiction.
Love the new cover! I love suspense, thriller and mysteries. I look forward to looking into your blog a little more. I will look into your other pages and follow. I would love it if you stopped by and checked out my pages too!

Drowned Sorrow definitely has a Shadow Over Innsmouth vibe; there was a distinct waft of the Lovecraftian throughout the book.
